Newport Parrog - Fells Collection Mounted Greeting Card
Newport Parrog: About half a mile form Newport, is a the Pembrokeshire Coast National park conservation area called the Parrog, which used to be a busy port, the town’s port. This was once busy with cargo coasters and fishing vessels.
Before the silting of the estuary in the late 1800’s slate, herring and woolen fabric were exported and culm, limestones, wine, fruit and other luxury items were imported along with shipbuilding and ship-repairing.
Newport Boat Club is a perfect place to relax in comfort after a day’s activity and enjoy the views from the outside balcony, or take your drink out on the club’s lawn, treat the family BBQ. This lovely looking building was built as a warehouse
